We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new podcast series aimed at cutting through the noise around self storage. At its core, the podcast is focusing less on theory, and more on bringing expertise from the ecosystem of operators and suppliers to listeners.
Co-hosted with Simon Forrester, CEO of the UK Self Storage Association, each episode brings together a variety of voices from across the industry to talk openly about all things self storage: from how they arrived at self storage, what surprised them along the way, and why self storage is a great investment choice. The conversations aim to help, educate, inform and bring awareness, with group-led discussions designed to feel like an honest round-table.
The series features a mix of owner-operators and industry experts, including Kuboid specialists, business diversifications, career pivots into self storage, and insight from institutional advisors. What connects them all is practical experience – lessons learned from real life situations.
The podcast is a natural extension of the work we do every day. As strategists, designers, delivery specialists and a trusted business partner within the self storage sector, we sit at the convergence of future-proof self storage, operations, and long-term value.
Rather than position self storage as a silver bullet, our podcast takes a more holistic approach: acknowledging the challenges, highlighting the evolution of self storage, and showing how the sector can, when done properly, complement both wider portfolios and lifestyle aspirations.
