Hexa Storage is a modern, tech-enabled self storage facility located near Cheltenham, developed with a clear vision to deliver autonomous, customer-led storage through intelligent design and technology. As new entrants to the industry, the founders focused on building the right partnerships from the outset, aligning themselves with experienced suppliers who could guide them through the journey.

Kuboid worked closely with Hexa Storage to maximise site capacity through an efficient, high-density layout while coordinating with leading technology providers. Doors were manufactured to integrate directly with OpenTech’s automated smart locking system, eliminating the need for on-site modifications and ensuring a streamlined installation process. The result was a fully integrated facility where access to the main gate and individual units is controlled through one cohesive system.

Automation sits at the heart of the operation. Customers can book online, receive secure access credentials and move into their unit without direct contact, with around 80% of move-ins now taking place autonomously. For Hexa Storage, this experience was central to their vision. Delivered through strong supplier collaboration and relationship-led project management, Hexa Storage stands as a prime example of how intelligent integration and forward-thinking design can create a self storage business built for long-term success.
