Speedy Storage Director, Chris, saw an opportunity within the self storage market when a building behind one of his current businesses became vacant. Chris looked at renting the space out to a commercial tenant, however, due to the fantastic location and visibility of the building he decided to implement self storage. As an owner of multiple holiday parks in the Southwest, Chris has limited spare time, but he believes that self storage product is relatively simple.

Chris partnered with a previous supplier who helped him build the first phase of his facility. As soon as the facility hit a high occupancy, Chris looked into an extension. Once he completed research, Chris discovered that Kuboid were a market favourite.

Chris contacted Kuboid with an initial enquiry, and Kuboid quickly responded to meet the customer and book in a site visit. Kuboid met with Chris to understand his requirements and how to utilise the space.

Although the project was small, Chris felt just as important as the larger projects, and he was over the moon with the fit-out, which he described a very high-standard. Chris explained that self storage was previously a ‘business on the side’, but as Speedy Storage has been a massive success, he is actively looking for more sites across the Southwest.
